NOTE: Viewer Fabio Sciola notes that this is the episode where George mentions again that he has a brother. However, he hasn't mentioned this brother since this episode. At least that I am aware of.

Is there some reason this episode is rarely (if ever) shown in syndication? I thought I'd seen every episode until I caught this one a few months back. I hadn't seen or heard of it before and haven't seen it since... and I watch the reruns at least 3 times a day and once on Saturday and Sunday. Just wondering.

You just have missed it in the past. It's shown as often as any other Seinfeld episode.

I'm not sure the date of broadcasting mentionned on the site is correct for this episode. Does anybody has an idea about it ?

I just watched The Parking Spot this last week. But it is one of the episodes that isn't shown that much anymore. Among other good episodes that aren't shown that much is The Butter Shave, one of my favorites.

There are 180 shows in all, I believe, and Over the course of, say a year, they are all probably shown once, but the poppular and great episodes, are shown far more often.

I have was wondering if the truck driver that tells them to is the Mike Costanza that George is based on.

My last sentance was supposed to be:

I was wondering if the truck driver that tells them to move is the Mike Costanza that George is based on.

I don't know...But, by the way, George Costanza is not based on Mike Costanza. hey just liked the name. He (Mike C) claims it's based on him, but both Jerry and Larry David say he's full of shit...
GO HERE and get Kenny Kramer's version of the story.

Basically, Mike Costanza claims that Frank and Estelle are based on his parents, but Kenny Kramer says that anyone who has taken his reality tour will see that Estelle is TOTALLY based on Larry David's mother.

In the first long shot of Jerry's car you can tell it's not really Julia (Elaine) and Jason (George) in it.

Is this the same episode where George gets such a good parking spot that he won't move his car? I'm looking for that one, and if anyone knows which it is, I'd really appreciate the tip. Thanks.

Joel, you may be thinking of "The Parking Garage" (Episode 23). This thread is about "The Parking Space" (Episode 39).

This one is too funny on so many different levels. The dilemma was never resolved for the viewer, which is ok, but if I were Jerry I would have told Mike Moffit to let George have the spot or he's uninvited to watch boxing up at his apartment. That's called payback for Mike telling Kramer Jerry is a phoney. Laughing

Mookie, you may be thinking of "The Parking Space" (Episode 39). I think this thread is about "The Parking Lot" (Episode 187).

I love this episode. especially when George is caught letting the air out of a Thor's tires. I wonder where Thor got those cowboy boots. K-Mart? Ooh, look at him... I'm afraid to go in there.

NO DOUBT MIKE COSTANZA IS THE BASIS FOR GEORGE

IF THERE WAS NO RELATIONSHIP, WHY WAS MIKE ON THE EPISODE AND PAID FOR IT

WHY WAS GEORGE IN REAL ESTATE AND MIKE IS IN REAL ESTATE

BOTH USED TO WEAR HAIR PIECES

MIKE WAS A HAND MODEL AND SO WAS GEORGE IN AN EPISODE

SEE PHOTOS IN HIS 1998 BOOK SHOWING JERRY AT 15, BOTH MIKE AND GERRY IN A WEDDING PARTY TOGETHER AND SEVERAL PARTIES AS WELL AS IN PRIVATE HOMES TOGETHER.

LOOKS LIKE MORE THAN A OPPORTUNIST TO ME- GIVE THE GUY CREDIT FOR BEING COSTANZA AND LETS ALL GO FORWARD

I LOOK FORWARD TO MORE PHOTOS- THEY ARE WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS!

I'm just scanning the blogs to get a sense of what Seinfeld fans are doing these days.
I haven't thought about these issues for years. I think it's amazing that people still find it interesting and that few people really know the facts.
My updated version of the original book should put a lot of the speculation to rest and even make it crystal clear why I wrote the book.
I never really answered all of these losers about their cashing in accusations.
This was never about money. It was personal and the new chapters in the book will tell the whole story.
Oh, and I noticed my 13 year old daughter got on the internet nd stuck up for her dad and some asshole called her a skank tramp. Very nice. If you give me your name and address I'd like to pick you up and buy you a beer. How about it you chicken shit loser.
