gs: David Naughton (Dick) Bridget Sienna (Evie) Rachel Davies (Saleswoman) Richard Fancy (Lippman)

Jerry is the unwitting cause of Elaine's boyfriend falling off the wagon. Elaine gets George a job, so he buys her a gift, an $85 cashmere sweater. The sweater has a little red dot on it; hence the price. Elaine gives it back, then George gives it to the cleaning woman, to keep her quiet about them having sex on his desk. George gets fired.

Did it ruin the episode not seeing the red dot? Why should they have shown it? It wasn't an episode breaker.

The whole point of the red dot was that it was really small. It wouldn't easily visible anyway. I think it's a bit more strange that Kramer passes out after only 3 shots of scotch

That Hennigan's is some potent stuff. It doubles as paint thinner.

Hard to believe it doesn't smell. I don't know any paint thinners that don't smell. Smile

"Say you got a big job interview, and you're a little nervous. Well throw back a couple shots of Hennigans and you'll be as loose as a goose and ready to roll in no time. And because it's odorless, why, it will be our little secret."

I wonder if there really is a Hennigan's scotch. A quick search on Google didn't reveal one. Probably not. Oh well, would love to get a hold of some.

Looked everywhere, couldn't find the Hennigan's scotch! Although the bottle reminds me of a scotch named Hennessey (sp?). Maybe it was based on that...

here's a question . . . it seems like at the beginning of this episode, during the standup, jerry is right in the middle of a bit and we've missed the first part of it. the whole, this has to be a scary place to work, knives bit. is that the entire bit? if not, why did they cut off part of it and what's the beginning?

holy..

Hennessey is a cognac ... not scotch.

Maybe I'm nitpicky but it seems odd to me that all those people would be bothered by such a small red dot on the sweater, ESPECIALLY the cleaning lady who was so in love with cashmere. I realize that this was all a running joke, but still...
