gs: Sheree North (Babs Kramer) Gail Strickland (Landis) Charlotte Lewis (Nina) Jann Karam (Sandi) Terry Sweeney (Keith) Heather Medway (Laura) Clive Rosengren (Mr. Clotworthy) Jacqueline M. Houston (Lorraine) Cheryl Francis Harrington (Waitress) Tish Smiley (Woman) Wayne Knight (Newman)

Elaine lets a potential employer borrow Mr. Pitt's tennis racket, but the injury suffered may ruin her chances, especially when she must get his racket back. Jerry's girlfriend never laughs, but he meets her roommate who does, so Jerry decides he would like to make "the switch." George's model girlfriend may be bulimic. He needs proof, so he meets Kramer's mother, who's a bathroom matron. While there he finds out Kramer's first name, Cosmo. Kramer decides it is time to be himself and begins to use his first name. George has the perfect plan for "the switch," a menage a trois.

Is the associate at Double Day that won't let Elaine take back the racket, possibly Carrot Top, the comedian. He looks like him (the "eye-brows" especially). Anyone know if its him.

Does anyone know what "The Switch" is parodying and where the music for this episode is from (when George and Jerry are making their plans)? It sure seems like they are parodying something specific.

What old movie is being parodied by Jerry and George at the coffee shop and then Newman and Babbs, it has to be a Humphrey Bogart or James Cagney movie.

Funny how you can frequently find something you never realized even after watching these episodes for the umteenth time. After Kramer’s first name is revealed as Cosmo, he and his mother are walking down the street and several people greet him as Cosmo. One person, who you can’t see, says “What do you say Cosmo?” It’s Larry David who says it. Trivial, but I get a kick out of noticing these things.

Anyone know the name of the song in this episode? When J & G make their plans and when Newman meets Kramers mother. Thanks

When Cosmo and Babs are walking down the street greeting people, it reminds me of that scene in Gone with the Wind when Rhett and Scarlett where walking down the street with their baby and everyone was saying basically the same thing.. Of course Larry David never yelled out "what do ya say Cosmo" to Rhett...
