gs: Brian George (Babu Bhatt) Maggie Han (Cheryl) Ping Wu (Ping) John Hamelin (Babu's Brother) Gerry Bednob (Babu's Friend)

George meets a Chinese female lawyer who thinks he is real funny; so he tells Jerry not to be funny around her, but she becomes attracted to this. Kramer returns early from baseball fantasy camp, where he accidentally punched Mickey Mantle. A mix-up with Jerry's mail causes Babu to be arrested for not renewing his visa. Jerry tries to get the lawyer to help Babu, but George's honesty when his relationship is threatened causes Babu to be deported and Elaine to still be sued by the delivery boy she hit.

This is one of my favorite episodes. From Ping's "hasta la vista" remark to Jerry pretending to be dark and disturbed. Kramer's description of the fantasy camp brawl and his beg to Mickey Mantle to hit him in the face are both classic. Babu's finger wagging and "very good man, very bad man" quotes split my sides.

George: "No you can't the tables together. It uh...makes an 8."

Birthdays are merely symbolic of how another year has gone by and
how little we've grown. No matter how desperate we are that someday a better
self will emerge, with each flicker of the candles on the cake, we know it's not
to be, that for the rest of our sad, wretched pathetic lives, this is who we are
to the bitter end. Inevitably, irrevocably; happy birthday? No such thing.

George: But, but I'm disturbed! I'm depressed! I'm inadequate! I got it
all!!

Another line which is supposed to be tragic..but the way jerry said it
was hilarious.
"Well, with so many people in the world deprived and unhappy, it doesn't
seem like it would be fair to be cheerful"

Is this the episode where george and jerry are sitting in the coffee shop and george says,

Fall ass backwards into money, have sex without dating and mooch off your neighbor. that's a fantasy camp.

My favorite line from this episode is when they're at the restaurant and George makes the comment about how the two tables makes an eight. I just LOVE those "seinfeldian" observations.

OK, I can sleep at night now!

About ten years ago, before I'd ever watched Seinfeld, a co-worker had a Seinfeld calendar. Each month featured stills from the show and the quotes that went with them.

There was one set of quotes I remembered, but I could never find it in any of the Seinfeld scripts on this site. I began to doubt my memory; maybe I had actually seen it on the person's "Friends" calendar or something?

Well, I was just watching the Notes About Nothing on THE VISA, and I discovered that the quotes I saw printed on the calendar were in fact CUT FROM THE EPISODE! It's the exchange that the N.A.N. say would have followed this part:

Elaine nods her head in approval.

George: You mean that's true, I'm right?!

Glad to discover I'm not crazy. Interesting that they would put unused dialogue on the calendar.
