Hi,

in "the Visa" episode: the restaurant scene where Jerry has to act deadly serious. Jerry calls George "Biff" here. What did that refer to?

Thanks.

Biff Lowman, "the biggest loser in the history of American literature", from Death of a Salesman.

... So Jimmy said to him "Artie... come on! Why does the salesman have to die? Change the title... "The LIFE Of A Salesman!" THAT'S what people want to see.

No, no, no!! He names him Biff after the bully in Back To The Future... it all ties in with the Pepsi. George likes pepsi... Marty likes Pepsi. If you don't believe Jimmy, just ask Ramon... he'll tell you the same thing. It's Biff from Back To The Future!!! BIFF is the guy!

A Cry In The Dark was a movie about a real life story of an australian woman who allegedly killed her baby but claimed that a dingo had eaten it.

Actually, early in Season 3 Jerry calls George Biff Lowman. "Don't whistle on the elevator."

Judge Vandelay asks why Elaine says "Maybe the dingo ate your baby". This refers to an event at Ayers Rock, Australia 1980 where Lindy Chamberlain's daughter, Azaria, was allegedly taken by a dingo (sort of a wild dog)
