The rather unfriendly message of 'Message in a Bottle' is delivered to O'Neill in the form of a spear through his shoulder. This fantastic episode demonstrates every aspect of the show's appeal. In 'Family,' Teal'c's son Rya'c performs a role reversal on his father that puts the Goa'uld's motivations in question. Returning to the planet from the original Stargate movie, Daniel catches up with his lost wife in 'Secrets.' --Paul Tonks
