The tone of this sci-fi jiggle comedy is closer to Steel Angel Kurumi and other 'fan service' series than to the original Tenchi Muyo! and its many sequels. One-man destruction derby Seina Yamada succeeds in winning a berth at the elite Galactic Police Academy, but has to compete against cadets who have undergone 'body enhancement' procedures. Despite the risks, Seina insists on getting biosurgical modification. Once the program begins, he moves out of the cadet dorm and into a house with resident babes Kiriko, Amane and Erma, a triple 'Here's to you, Mrs. Robinson' set-up that rouses the envy of Seina's fellow students. However, the sight of three scantily clad adult females pursuing barely pubescent Seina is not for the squeamish. Although this series has only minimal ties to the popular Tenchi continuity, disaster-prone but well-intentioned Seina continues to win fans in America.
