In Biker Build-Off, each customizer will be given two weeks to create a one-of-a-kind motorcycle, from the ground up. Although aesthetics are crucial to all the builds, the contest also requires the bikes to work; the builders must ride them as far as 1,000 miles to major bike events, where attendees vote for their favorite. Episode 8: The Biker Build-Off faithful demanded it, so here it is: the first Build-Off featuring a woman builder, Gypsy Charros. Gypsy's bike is inspired by the sculpted lines and Art Deco touches of one of America's most beautiful automobiles, a 1936 Cord. Vintage pieces like a 1928 Moto Guzzi front end and a 1912 saddle are integrated in a design that includes innumerable parts fabricated by Gypsy herself. Gypsy's retro-ride faces off against a muscle-bike from the shop of Kansas City legend Kim Suter. Massive 330 rear tire, 155 horsepower S&S mill, and 7 stretched frame will scorch the blacktop . . . BUT will it be enough to win one for the guys? Tens of thousands will decide at the Sturgis Mississippi River Run in Davenport, Iowa.
