Thoughts for a Reunion episode

From what I understand, the reunion special on Thanksgiving will be just a retrospective on the series. As they had two clip shows during the run of the show, I'm not particularly excited. I'd personally like to see a new episode. Anybody with me? Here's my idea. Jerry and Elaine are married, and Jerry's a gymnastics coach. And their son's not interested in gymnastics, and Jerry's pushing him into gymnastics. Whadaya think?

Nah, reunion shows are always a disaster. Jerry ended Seinfeld for the same reason he'd never have a reunion (to go out on a high note). You can't leave people wanting more, when you fail to realize when to quit. Can you imagine the 50 year-old characters behaving the way they used to. And even If they were to have changed, or "grown up," that would be even more disappointing. A cast divided against itself, cannot stand.

Reunion special = cool, gives us a chance to see the actors from our favorite show reflect.
New episode = bad idea. Odds are very strongly against reunion shows working.

It just wouldn't work. (Especially your idea, no offence).

In my opinion, they have aged quite a bit (especially Michael Richards) since it ended 6 years ago.

A clip show will do just fine.

How about this. Jerry runs a circus. I think it would work because people want to see freaks.

why do so many people suggest that if there was ever a reunion episode, that jerry and lainey should be married?

The beauty of Seinfeld is that the end of Seinfeld was not picture perfect. Unlike all of the other shows with their picturesque (i can't spell) ending, Seinfeld broke the rules and that is why it was such a success. My vote goes for reunion, but no show, and definately no marraige between Jerry and Elaine, if anything Kramer and Elaine should get married (according to their 50 year engagement).

I think Seinfeld could pull a new episode off. He's talented.

I think reunions don't work many times because the times have changed since then. Jerry and Elaine should not get together, though.

They'd have a hard time finding a place to live with their convicted background, I'd think. But I always thought they'd show the opening of a reunion with them walking out of jail and going their separate ways, for a while. And they'd try to live without each other for a while, but they wouldn't gel with anyone else. So they'd get back together because they understood each other and because they have a history together. But as for the comedy in it all, that's up to Jerry.

Allright, the jig is up. I am O' Brien. I've made enough enemies here that I posted under a pseudonym. Anyway, I'll take it as a personal challenge to write a reunion episode. AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO STOP ME!!!

I don't remember you making any enemies. All I remember is you posting a script, a few people saying they didn't like it, and then you calling people names and telling them you're a genius and nobody else knows what they're talking about. Don't take everything so personally, nobody's out to get you.

I think the election results reflect that.

Hey Fake-Chiles. If you're going to make stupid posts, at least TRY to hide the fact that you're not even 12 years old.

Ok, Joy boy, have a good time for now, you and your good time buddies. I guarantee you that within 24 hours, you won't have access to this site and you'll have to play with the 5 Chinese brothers, with their pee pee's and their wee wee's.
