Agreed! Smile

DivFix fixes it nicely.

All I did was strip the index and had the program rebuild it.

It can be found here: http://www.videohelp.com/download/DivFix110.zip and is freeware

I just downloaded the torrent with this episode and I'm not sure how it works in all these media players but I have tested it in two of them without the fix and it will play fine without the fix in VLC Media Player.

These are the six media players I have (all freeware, to the best of my knowledge):

Windows Media Player (Version 10-unsure of how it plays back in Version 9)-
Stops at about 9:53, 9:54-will continue playing without audio However, if you push the button that appears in the window in the middle of the playback screen and close the window the video will revert back to the stopped position (0:00) To play the second part, find a spot on the place bar as shortly as possible past the problematic 9:53-9:54 point and resume play from there or apply the fix mentioned above

VLC Media Player-
Entire video will play without applying the fix with no problems.

Real Player-untested
DIVX Media Player-untested
Interactual Media Player-untested
Quicktime Media Player-untested (but presumably only works with Apple Quicktime files, which none of the Seinfeld torrents here are)

Hello there!
I also fixed the Merv Griffin show episode. It's simple for who knows how to use GordianKnot and VirtualDubMod. What I did was just to strip 3 video frames from the file (in VirtualDubMod), save the video track, save the audio as wav and reencode the wav back to MP3, but constant bit rate. By the way: why in the hell are the audio tracks encoded with variable bit rate?

Now, how can this fixed file be posted/seeded for download?
