I tried to post this in the episode guide discussion but couldn't

My question anyhow.....I know there's been episode about high talkers, long talkers and close talkers, but what about an up talker?

I've seen reference to it, but I've been unable to find the episode about an up talker.

What's an up talker? It's a trait stereo typically in young females, usually white, upper-class demographic in North America, as seen in the movie Clueless, known as 'up-talk'. Linguistic studies have shown that it's used to signal information that is new to the listener. So, for example, if an up-talker is telling you about what happened when she went to the mall yesterday, and you already knew that she had gone but not what she had done there, she might say this:

"So, I went to the mall yesterDAY. And I saw this GUY? And he was, like, really CUTE? And then I went HOME. And then he called ME?"

It is time for highlifesipper to see Herb and Dan. Although they might not be able to help him with his obsession of lactating women.

Danielle is gay, but it's certinally possible that Mr. herb might be able to help, however, I know that I'm uncomfortable speaking with him because he refers to his bananas as yellows.

And, he's an up talker. Rolling Eyes

Who so belongs only to his up-talk, references only popenjays and mumbo jumbos. Thomas Carlisle, 1864.

The question is, "when do I need to eat this fruit, now or later"? Because fruit's a gamble. I know that going in. No... I need the secure packaging of aluminum.

I like you Jimmy. You're great! You are so great

Mookie, are you always wound up this tight, Honey, or do you loosen up? There's the next (2) questions for you!

And Todd, you remind me of that little dog in the Warner Bros. cartoons that follows Spike around!

Well, that's the way I express myself. How are you gonna make it in this business if you can't take it?
