He was in one episode, and not only was he not shown again, I don't even think he was mentioned.

It was once related that the man who played Alton Benes (Lawrence Tierney) scared the Hell out of everyone on the set so I guess that was that.
I mean if that wasn't that, what was that?
But yeah, you'd think he would at least get a mention on the show from time to time. |

I'm TiVo-ing a Lawrence Tierney movie on TCM Monday morning called "Born to Kill." I've never seen it, never heard of it, can't vouch for it. But he's in it. The Comcast onscreen guide calls it "film noir." I'll be the judge of that.
It's a 1947 movie, so Tierney is a much younger man. He was also in Reservoir Dogs, for all those who haven't seen it yet, but he looks and talks a lot like Alton Benes. You see one Alton Benes, you've seen 'em all. |

Okay, now I know people are right when they tell me I need glasses. I thought Bookman's post said Drive!
I'm glad I didn't follow through with asking what the hell that meant.

He'd never listen to anyone. Except of course, Jimmy. He'd listen to Jimmy. Jimmy... would have to be involved. He really respects... Jimmy. |
