I think newman's first name is specter. The reason why is that in the parking garage episode, kramer tells george that specter likes fat womne. In another episode, Newman is mailing something, and there is a fat women mailing something too. He lets her mail first, and he tries to make a hit on her but she gets her boyfriend on him. So his name is specter Very Happy

You see that's the genius of it. If they called him "Liam", for example, nobody would ever believe it.

I dont think so.
Two episodes later in The Tape Kramer says Spector gave him the camcorder because he is going minimalist, Georges asks 'is that the guy who likes fat women' Jerry says 'doesn't the minimalism conflict with the fat fetist'.

Since Newman is a close friend of Kramers and lives in the building surely George has meet him or knows of him therefore would not refer to him in this way ie 'that the guy'(i know Newman hasnt made an appearance at this stage but he has been referred to in The Revenge in season 2)

Newman's business card as seen in an episode(the one where Jerry gets busted for mail fraud) simply reads 'Newman'.

Newman is generally addressed by his last name; his first name is never mentioned. In the episode "The Bottle Deposit, Part 2" a character (the farmer's daughter) shouts "Goodbye, Norman," but this was a mistake on the part of the actress (Karen Lynn Scott). It was left in because it was considered funny (and it could be taken as a joke about her having slept with him without even knowing his name).

When Newman has to go to curt for being a scofflaw the judge calls him Mr. Newman. On the notes about nothing they say his first name is never reveled.

It's Newman. Newman Newman like Pizza Pizza or Duran Duran.
