Isn't the Seinfeld special on NBC on Thursday, the one with Superman.

20th may, Seinfeld is going to tape a new season. Some say it's the very last season to finish season 9, some say it's a new beginning for a lot of seasons.

No no no, that can't be true. Where did you get that from? He did say that may 20th was the release date for the second Amex commercial (Hindsight).

ofcourse all seinfeld fans would be happy about a new season... but, why would they make a 10th season? Laughing
i think they made a clear point by the final 2 episodes:

--> What Goes Around Comes Around!!

Cool

I got a special source at NBC.

It's a real plan to make a new season. At least a couple of episodes. The fans would be happy and NBC knows that.

Don't you think it is a great plan ?

I don't believe it. Plus I don't think it would be a great idea. I mean I'm sure it would be funny and all, but I don't know. Everyone will be 10 years older, how would they deal with that?

There is no way there is going to be another season. Im pretty sure that the set is gone. There could be an "epsode" that was never released but we would have heard about it since '98. It is most likely the next installment of AmEx commercials (probably the one where they are crossing the country).

I like Seinfeld!
I love Seinfeld!
I live for Seinfeld!

We're out of Seinfeld!

Ring any bells?

There's nothing absolutely nothing I would like to see more on TV than new Seinfeld episodes even if it would only be for one season ending Seinfeld properly with Jerry moving or merrying Elaine or something.
Not even expanding the Star Wars filmseries with episodes VII through IX or a new Terminator movie or anything else comes close to new Seinfeld episodes on my wishlist. Very Happy

Yea its just the new Seinfeld/Superman Amex promotion. I just checked my digital cable guide and it will air at 8:42 eastern time on NBC. At least, this is the first time we get to see Jerry on NBC on Thursdays night in 6 years. Very Happy

April 2, 2004 -- Jerry Seinfeld says he won't be doing another sitcom - not now, not ever.
"Why would I do that?" he told WFAN listeners last night while co-hosting a sports-talk show.

"When you have an experience like that [meaning, 'Seinfeld'], it's like Joe DiMaggio starting another streak," Seinfeld said.

"I don't think so."
