We virtually never see him work. The only time I can think when he made any money was when he won big on that horse race. Any thoughts?

Kramer was on strike from H&H Bagels for 12 years, so he had a job at one time.
He also had a coffee table book about coffee tables that got published, and that got him on the Regis and Kathy Lee show.
He played Murphy Brown's secretary for at least one episode.
He sold his stories to J. Peterman and that led to the Peterman reality tour bus deal.
He modeled Kalvin Klein underwear because they stole his idea for a cologne that smells like the beach.
He runs small scams with Newman a lot.
He had a lawsuit with the coffee company that got him free cafe lattes for life.
He eats free food from Jerry all the time.
He gets all of Jerry's old things, like clothes and stuff.
He got a free plane trip from George cuz the pyschic warned him not to go.

There are more examples I'm sure, but...
My point is your right, we never really see him work cuz he really never does work. I'm not sure how he pays his rent, but other than that he just doesn't need much money.
He's just the type of guy to fall into a big pile of crap and come out smelling like a rose.

He drove the handsome cab (horse)ride, which payed something like $200 a day. There was a thread on this a while ago which shot down the notion that he never worked. People came up with about 35 instances where he made money.

Kramer is just cheap. He never buys groceries, and has a shitbox of a car. He wears cheap old 70's style clothes. That is how he makes it, BY BEING A MEIZER.

I think he does something crooked on the side, like he might be dealing drugs on the side.

He's got so much money, that he doesn't care for working for money. He even worked for free in an office, then became depressed when he lost his job..

I'm sorry, but we cannot keep you here anymore. But I don't even work here... That's what makes it so hard.

Very Happy

I'm, uh, H.E. Pennypacker. I'm a wealthy industrialist and philanthropist and, uh, a bicyclist.
