Rank the characters from 1-4.

1)Kramer,2) George, and 3)Elaine are all above 4)Jerry,
lets face it- the show was jerry's, but it was the other three who really made the show great. jerry sort of kept all the sub plots together, but he was never the funniest

I think that they are all equal, but if I had to chose this would be the order:

1. Kramer
2. George
3. Elaine
4. Jerry

Nah, they're all equally important. The only reason Jerry "seemed" less funny is because, unlike alot of other "stars", he didn't let his ego get in the way of the show...he could have kept the best lines for himself, but didn't. Every act needs a straight man (not that kind of straight) and he played it perfectly. The reason the show worked was because they were all indispensable.

If Jerry was a straight man, then there probably really WAS a stock room with Kaiser rolls.

Why limit to the four? Plenty of other characters to go around.

My vote goes to Newman

That's true, Gendison. I mean, even when she wasn't visibly present in a scene, you could just kind of feel that she was there.... hahahahaha

Yeah, I mean most people have a favorite character, but I don't think you can rank them. Jerry gets too little credit -- he was the core, without him, there was no show. All the jokes, all the plots cycled through him, and if he had been crazy like the rest of them (instead of "even steven," who can blow $20k on a cadillac, have his neighbor live out of his fridge and break his car and not bat an eye) then the show would have been too unbelievable, even unbearable. Jerry centered "Seinfeld."

#1 kramer

My favorite character was definitively Kramer with his great entrances, his funny falls, his always brilliant ideas, and most of all, his "sexy look". I miss the show a lot.

Kramer is the best. If you watch the special they have about him on the season 3 dvd you really begin to respect Michael Richards and how he went about playing this character.Hes so talented and unique.

"The Best Character" is SUBJECTIVE. Look that term up in the dictionary.

Obviously, everyone is entitled to their opinion, Gendison. So, don't get your panties in a wad if someone's preference is different from yours. Variety is the spice of life. So get your vapid tail off the chair for a moment to attempt to spice your own life up, instead of knocking someone's opinion.

And, J. "Child" Chiles, just because you've discussed something in the past, doesn't mean everyone else has to exclude the subject from their conversations. Just dont' participate if you can't contribute anything constructive.

This forum is for the reminiscent enjoyment of all, not just one.

WOW! I'm flattered at the time you put into making that such a pret-ty post. You even highlighted my name, thanx. DO you stay up all night designing these posts in your head so you can hopefully make a virtual friend? Obviously, you're another anonomous coward who can't post under his regular name, but your quite the pret-ty post designer. I have no problems with anyone having different preferences than me. In fact, I don't know what you're peeing your diapers about. Read my first post. I said they're ALL important characters. So, in reality, it's not even possible for someone to have a different opinion than me in this case, because I like them ALL...haha...Now go change your diapers, i think they're soiled. (Nice post, though...xoxo)

Jimmy had a suspicion that "puddy" was actually Little Jerry, who ran home crying a couple of weeks ago. You can't fool adults, Little Jerry! HAHAHA!!!!!!! Laughing

Yeah Jimbo, but you still have to admit, it's a pret-ty post. Only certain people have that type of "artistic flare". Alot of them end up as hairdressers and flight attendants, if they don't make it as fashion designers or interior decorators. And if he ever finds what he's looking for...right there, he doubles his wardrobe...that's one of their big selling points.

He could do something in sports. You know, like the general manager of a baseball team or something..... well, it doesn't even have to be the general manager. Maybe he could be like, an announcer. Like a color man. You know he could make those interesting comments during the game...
