Ok... I just thought about this..

I always thought The Burning was called that because of the 'Elaine going to hell' premise. Anyway, I just thought that perhaps it got its name from the gonorrea theme("much like the burning I would experience during urination"). Could it be for both?... what do you guys think?

I always figured it was for both.

Hmmm... I only thought about Kramer's acting gig...but the Elaine thing could be it too.

The other thing about this episode, is that Kramer's story and Elaine's story remain completely isolated from one another, which i thought was pretty unusual. Perhaps the title was one way to tie it together. The only other part that i can think of that kind of ties it together are these two instances:

Kramer: Well, I got gonorrea.
Elaine: That sounds about right.

(and later)

Elaine: Well, I'm going to hell.
Jerry: That souds about right.
