Hate to say it, but i think the last episosde was bad, firstly becos it signalled the end, secondly it was just a mere combination of their 'crimes', and lastly i still cannot believe that was the ending..but thats what i think, opinions may differ saying that it was a clever way of ending the show. |

The last episode is one I will always remember. I was in the hospital in the ICU watching it on tv, I had an emergency splenectomy the night before. When I was getting wheeled into the room for the anesthetic I said "don't drop any Junior Mints inside of me".... had to bring a little seinfeld humor you know.
"What kind of surgery is it?"
"splenectomy"
"isn't that where they..."
"no no don't ruin for me I haven't seen it yet" |

I agree with Rio. The movie is one of the worst episodes ever. It was just frustrating to watch, without ever being really funny. In the bottom 5 for me. Also thought The Bris and The Sniffing Accountant were pretty lame by Seinfeld standards |

I just saw The Dog last night and I'm voting that as the worst episode. The fake dog barking and Jerry yelling at the dog and the close up shots of Kramer yelling at his girlfriend..........as Marlene said to Jerry in The Ex-Girlfriend regarding Jerry's stand-up routine "Well, to be honest, it just didn't make it for me". I thought the best part of the show was George and Elaine not wanting Jerry to go to the bathroom and leave them alone because they have nothing to talk to each other about when Jerry is not around. |

yeah, i think the first series was the worst. the episodes didnt seem to have two stories going through them like the normally do. there are only a few in that series that i dont mind |

I think the episodes after 1993 are the more better shows than the first 2 or 3 seasons. If I see that those episodes are on I just turn it off. |

Why are you guys so negative, this is Seinfeld for god sake you should be praising it, yet there's no ''Best Episode?'' thread. Terrible. |

Most of seasons 8 and 9 were embarrasingly awful. The cast acted like mental patients; George did nothing but scream; the plots weren't the 'skewed reality' of the glory days but things like George wanting to eat, screw and watch TV at the same time. Gee, really funny. What a disgrace. |

how in the HELL can you say that seasons 8&9 are the worst? little jerry, chicken roaster, merv griffin, millenium, bizarro jerry, serninty now. to me the best episodes are in the 8th and 9th seasons. definatly, the worst episodes are in the first season. I sort of like the last episode, as it is the first seinfeld episode I saw when the show was origionaly (Spelling) on tv. |

I agree that there is no "worst" seinfeld episode, but if i think what people are saying is that if they rank them, what episode would be on the bottom. I would have to say The Dog. I can't stand that drunk guy and the way he says "farfal" |

In England the BBC showed the 3rd season first so when i saw the 1st season on paramount it was a little bit wooden. Because the characters hadn't fully formed yet. The interplay between george and Jerry is quite poorly acted, and in the first 5-6 episodes you can so tell that Michael Richards is trying to do an impression of Christopher Lloyd (Doc Brown) in Taxi.(obviously he wasn't Doc Brown in taxi)
so for my money the Seinfeld chronicles is the weakest link (goodbye) |

Thank God the network stuck with them, because it did take a while for the characters to develop, and some of those episodes in the first season are painful to watch. Kramer was just doing a take-off on Jim from Taxi. George and Jerry weren't convincing at all. But that's probably the case with any great series if you go back and watch the first few episodes. To me, the least funny and most uncortable to watch is "The Busboy". |

"The Pony Remark" is definitely NOT one of the worst. But it's always a bad idea to laugh out loud while people are mourning the death of an old lady who had a pony.
