No George + No Kramer = Bad Episode.

Worst offering? This thread! Wink

Kramer, George, or not, The Pen is absolutely CLASSIC comedy in some its finest forms.

Sorry, respectfully reserve the right to strongly disagree on ths one, Simon, old chap.

Differing opinions to my own will be tolerated on this one occasion.
I still don't rate "The Pen" , hate The Pen.
Come on you must have had some episodes when you thought "This isn't up to its usual standard ?"

most of the weakest episodes, in my opinion, are in the first few seasons, when the characters hadn't yet developed into the ones we all remember. the seinfeld chronicles, was weak, so was the stakeout. But the Pen was simply a classic, like JC said. I wish Clompus was my neighbor.

I agree with you about the early episodes , The Stock Tip did nothing for me either.

The Pen was one of the best episodes, and this thread is in the wrong forum.

You know the Soviet Union just used pencils coz they write in space anyway. No need to invent a pen that writes upside down.
Which would probaly explain why they were the first nation to get a man into space while NASA where still trying to invent that sodding pen.
And don't tell me to get a life , may opinions are as valid as yours.
Poor Jimmy what a berk.

Actually, they used pencils because they made so damn many mistakes that using a pen resulted in too many torn pages. Wink

The Pilot wasn't great. Some of the early season episodes were disappointing. Also, I was disappointed by the Finale. C'mon, the Good Samaritan Act.

"The Trip" & "The Keys" are garbage. "The Apology" isn't so good either. I can't really think of any more bad ones other than those 3.

How about the "The Muffin Tops"? Sure, its funnier than most other sitcoms, but those jokes about pizza pound cake etc. really blew.

I agree about "the pen". I just never find it as clever as later episodes. Also, "the barber" is not one of my favorites either.

I agree with Newman. I basically like them all but the pilot was weak. George was too stable. Jerry was funny. I m sure glad they still pick it up though!
