Would you say Curb Your Enthusiasm is "golden"?

I'm from Europe and have therefore seen a couple of episodes. But so far I'm pretty excited about the show. I sometimes got the impression I was watching Seinfeld. But I guess that's because Larry David writes the show!

I got that impression too, but then I also thought Larry David is like a George.

Actually, Larry David isn't like a George. George is like a Larry David. His character is totally based on Larry David.

Curb your Enthusiasm is a work of genius. My personal favourite episode is Crazy Eyez Killah, especially Larry's line "I'm your nigger", delivered in a plaintive voice from the top of the stairs. Anyone else got any favourite Curb moments?

"I know my sources!"

I think it's from the first episode, with the erroneous boner.

I always loved Curb because it's like a grown-up Seinfeld. Not that Seinfeld is for kids but you know what I mean. They can use the c-word, the f-word, all the words. Adds a whole other realm of possiblities.

That's very true. Also the fact that there is no script makes it even more impressive.

Have you seen the episode where Cheryl and Wanda accuse Larry of having an ass fetish because he greets Wanda from the car with "Hey, Wanda! I'd know that ass anywhere!" ?

Later, Larry is filthy dirty from changing a wheel on his car and Wanda says:
"What is all that shit on you anyway? What have you been doing? Scrounging around looking for asses?"

I love Curb your Enthusiasm. I only found out recently that they don't use a script..which is amazing. The actors are perfect (Larry's agent and his wife). When I first saw the show, I thought the actress who plays his wife was his REAL wife..great stuff!!
